THE AMERICA’S CUP ADVENTURE – PRECISION MECHANICAL MACHINING FOR LUNA ROSSA PRADA PIRELLI
With its weigh of 6,5 tons, 75 feet length and 16 feet width, AC75 is the monohull sailing boat used on the 36th edition of the America’s Cup.
Thanks to the involvement from Mr. Angelo Glisoni, the SCS team realized the FLAP with which the team of Luna Rossa Prada Pirelli raced the entire competition.
These components complete the “wings” of the boat and allow the hull to fly over the water exceeding the speed of 45 knots (about 90 km per hour).
With the support of our staff technical knowledge, use of high-tech machineries and special work shifts SCS was able to meet Customer requests respecting deadlines and the standard of quality.
